Job Title: Transportation Coordinator / Customer Service Associate
Location: Springdale, AR
Assignment Type: Contract
Duration: 3 Months
Pay Rate: $21/hour (W2)
Training Schedule (Mandatory)
- Monday – Friday
- 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Duration: Minimum 3 weeks
Work Schedule (Post-Training)
- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM (Overnight Shift)
- Every other Saturday
- Weekly hours may vary
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator / Customer Service Associate to manage communication between carriers, customers, and internal teams. This role focuses on coordinating logistics operations, resolving issues, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery performance in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact between supply chain teams and external customers
- Manage customer relationships and resolve requests in a timely manner
- Coordinate shipments using dispatch and logistics systems
- Monitor deliveries and proactively address delays or issues
- Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Identify cost-effective logistics solutions to improve efficiency
- Develop solutions to enhance delivery accuracy and customer satisfaction
- Document communications and follow up on all inquiries
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in logistics, transportation, or customer service
Experience:
- Prior customer service experience (beyond call center roles) required
- Experience in dispatch, transportation, or logistics coordination preferred
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to manage high-volume email communication (300 emails/day)
- Experience with dispatch/logistics systems (preferred):
- TES, LME, FourKites, OTR, Retailix, Retail Link, UNFI, One Network
