Job Title: Transportation Claims Coordinator
Location: Fayetteville, AR
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Schedule: Day Shift – Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Weekly
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Transportation Claims Coordinator to support transportation and logistics operations by managing shipment-related claims and service issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills while working collaboratively with carriers, customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate claim resolution.
Responsibilities
- Receive, review, investigate, and process transportation and shipment-related claims.
- Manage Over, Short, and Damaged (OS&D) shipment claims and gather supporting documentation.
- Communicate with carriers, vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding claim status and resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of claims, investigations, correspondence, and outcomes.
- Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely processing and closure of claims.
- Enter, update, and maintain information within transportation, logistics, and business systems.
- Assist with data collection, reporting, and performance analysis related to transportation operations.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documentation to support operational and management needs.
- Provide professional customer service and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
- Support daily transportation, logistics, and supply chain operations as assigned.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards.
Required Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate Degree preferred.
Experience
- Minimum two (2) years of office, administrative, customer service, clerical, or related experience required.
- Experience working in a fast-paced business environment preferred.

- Experience with reporting tools and transportation management systems preferred.
