Location: Ithaca, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay: $52 – $57.50/hr
Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide post-anesthesia care in a fast-paced PACU setting. Responsible for monitoring recovery, managing pain, and ensuring patient safety after surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor vital signs and recovery from anesthesia
- Provide post-op care, including pain and airway management
- Identify and respond to complications
- Collaborate with surgical and care teams
- Educate patients/families and maintain documentation
Requirements
- Active NY RN License
- Experience in PACU, ICU, or critical care
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Schedule
- Evening Shift | 3x12 hours/week
Additional Info
- Schedule provided in advance
- On-call: Up to 4 weekday shifts (8 weeks) 1 weekend 24-hr call per contract
