Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide nutritional care across adult patient populations, including medical, surgical, and ICU units. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical nutrition experience and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients’ nutritional status and develop individualized care plans
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and families
- Monitor and adjust nutrition interventions based on patient progress
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Document patient care and nutrition plans using EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
- Float to other units as needed
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of clinical dietitian experience
- Experience working with adult patient populations (Med/Surg, ICU)
- Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Certifications & Licensure:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) – Required
- South Carolina Dietetics License – Required
- BLS Certification – Required
