Job Title: Radiology Technologist
Location: Cincinnati, OH 45227
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks (with possibility of extension)
Shift: Monday – Friday | 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM and 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to perform routine radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable imaging procedures across multiple care settings, including inpatient units, outpatient services, and surgical departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, attention to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic exams as ordered by physicians
- Conduct fluoroscopic and portable imaging procedures as required
- Ensure patient and staff safety by adhering to radiation protection standards
- Position patients accurately and operate imaging equipment effectively
- Maintain versatility across all areas of the diagnostic radiology department
- Schedule exams and manage workflow using department systems
- Utilize patient transport systems to coordinate imaging services
- Access and manage patient exam information, including ordering, reprinting, and cancellations
- Report equipment issues promptly to management and clinical engineering teams
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary departments
- Assist with on-call coordination when necessary
- Support radiologic technologist students as needed
- Participate in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and departmental audits
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Required Education
- Graduate of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
Required Certifications & Licensure
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
