Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to perform a variety of imaging procedures, including routine radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable exams. This role supports multiple departments such as diagnostic radiology, nursing units, outpatient services, and surgical areas, ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders
- Conduct routine, fluoroscopic, and portable imaging procedures
- Ensure accurate patient positioning to achieve optimal imaging results
- Adhere to radiation safety standards for patients and staff
- Operate and maintain diagnostic radiology equipment and imaging systems
- Assist with scheduling exams and coordinating patient transport
- Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information
- Report equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient workflow
- Provide guidance and support to radiologic technologist students as needed
- Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and departmental audits
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and sterile techniques
- Proficiency in patient positioning and imaging equipment operation
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Certifications & Licensure
- ARRT Certification (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (required)
