Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Nurse Manager - Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) for an exciting opportunity in Asheville, NC.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, supervision, and coordination of daily clinical operations
- Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality nursing care aligned with current standards of practice
- Collaborate with nursing leadership on strategic planning, innovation, and performance improvement initiatives
- Integrate clinical, operational, and financial data into decision-making processes
- Promote evidence-based practice and support quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, retention, and staff development efforts
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment
- Participate in organizational goals and interdisciplinary team initiatives
- Provide administrative on-call support on a rotational basis
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- ADN with MSN or BA with MSN accepted
- Active North Carolina RN License or Compact RN License required
- BLS Certification required
- Minimum 5 years of recent nursing experience required
- Minimum 2 years of hospital-based leadership experience required
- Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager experience required
- Strong post-cardiothoracic clinical experience required
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
- Previous formal Nurse Manager experience preferred
- Experience in Cardiovascular or Progressive Care nursing leadership preferred
- National nursing specialty or leadership certification preferred
Additional Information
- National certification in leadership or nursing specialty required within one year of hire if not already obtained
- Administrative on-call coverage required approximately once every 6 weeks
