Job Title: LPN – Outpatient Clinic

Location: Waimea, HI
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Clinic Hours | 5x8 Shifts
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Occasionally until 6:00 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week (80 Hours Every Two Weeks – No Exceptions)

Compensation

• Traveler Pay: $2,500 – $2,736 Weekly (based on experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support a busy outpatient clinic environment providing care across Family Practice, Behavioral Health, OB, and Urgent Care services. The ideal candidate will have strong outpatient clinical experience, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to adapt to multiple clinic settings while maintaining high-quality care standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and nursing support in an outpatient clinic setting
• Assist providers with patient assessments, treatments, and procedures
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by providers
• Support Family Practice, Behavioral Health, OB, and Urgent Care departments
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes appropriately
• Float to other clinic locations as needed to ensure patient care coverage
• Maintain infection prevention, safety, and clinic compliance standards
• Deliver compassionate and professional patient-centered care

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
• Active Hawaii LPN license required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of LPN experience required
• Prior outpatient clinic experience required
• Experience in Family Practice, Behavioral Health, Internal Medicine, or similar outpatient settings preferred
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Ability to work guaranteed 80 hours every two weeks without exceptions
• Willingness to float between clinic locations as needed
• Ability to work required holiday coverage including:
  • New Year’s Day
  • Independence Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Day
