Job Title: EEG Technician
Location: Syracuse, NY
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Every Other Weekend Required)
Pay Rate:
Local: $49/hour
Travel: $58/hour (including stipend)
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled EEG Technician to perform electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role involves working with patients across all age groups—from neonatal to geriatric—while ensuring accurate data collection and high-quality patient care in accordance with established clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine EEG procedures in accordance with ASET guidelines
Prepare and position patients, including electrode measurement and application for adult and pediatric populations
Monitor, record, and analyze EEG waveforms and patterns
Document raw data and prepare reports for physician interpretation
Edit and manage long-term (24-hour) EEG recordings
Provide patient and family education with a focus on comfort and understanding
Maintain EEG equipment and ensure proper functionality
Stock acquisition stations and report equipment issues promptly
Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
Registered EEG Technician (R. EEG T)
Minimum 1 year of EEG experience
BLS/CPR certification
Strong computer skills, communication abilities, and critical thinking
