Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – LTC
Location: Edison, NJ 08820
Pay Rate: $30.00 – $40.00/hour
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
Schedule
- Night Shift
- 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (5x8 shifts)
- Every other weekend & holiday required
- No on-call
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting. The CNA will support residents with daily activities while ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care following individualized care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility
- Support ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Respond promptly to patient needs and call lights
- Report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with documentation and care coordination
- Work collaboratively with nurses and healthcare team members
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active New Jersey CNA License
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of CNA experience in LTC or skilled nursing facility
- Experience working with geriatric or rehabilitation patients
- Ability to work with COVID-positive patients
- Willingness to float between units as needed
- Must pass facility competency exam
