Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant – Financial Aid to support the Financial Aid leadership team in the development, implementation, and administration of student financial aid programs. This role supports academic programs within allied health disciplines and requires strong organizational skills, accuracy in data management, and knowledge of financial aid processes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in administering and evaluating student financial aid programs
Serve as a resource for students regarding financial aid policies, procedures, and deadlines
Prepare and distribute financial aid application packets and related documentation
Process FAFSA applications, state grants, scholarship programs, and student loan applications
Reconcile student financial aid packages and assist with loan processing
Maintain scholarship records and financial aid documentation
Ensure compliance with federal and state financial aid regulations
Collaborate with admissions, registration, and finance departments
Communicate effectively with students, families, and internal staff
Support student services initiatives such as orientation and graduation activities
Perform accurate data entry and maintain financial aid records
Participate in administrative meetings and complete special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
Prior office or administrative experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Basic PeopleSoft (PS) experience preferred
Strong data entry and organizational skills
Knowledge of financial aid processes within an educational setting
Experience processing FAFSA and state grant applications
Ability to reconcile financial aid packages and process student loans
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
