What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Account Executive position at Navisync?
As the primary point of contact for clients, the Senior Account Executive Is responsible for managing client relationships while supporting development and execution of brand strategies. In this position the individual will be working to understand client needs, develop tailored solutions, and ensure seamless delivery of projects. An ideal candidate for this role would be someone who can manage multiple clients and internal teams, contributing strategically and tactically to ensure success in both areas.
*NOTE: Only candidates in the TriState area will be considered for this position (NYC/NJ/Local PA)
EXPERIENCE:
- 2-5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical agency environment; market access experience highly preferred
- 4-year College degree and/or equivalent work experience required
- No management experience required
- Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills
- Client facing experience, including writing contract reports, maintaining status reports and developing briefs
LEADERSHIP:
- No direct reports
- May join/support pitch presentations
CLIENT ENGAGEMENT:
- Supports 1-2 brands ($500K-$1M in revenue)
- Takes detailed meeting notes and drafts client contact report
- Maintains client status reports
- Leads development of tactics as directed by client and/or manager
- In partnership with manager, develops and maintains relationships with clients
- Recognize opportunities for organic growth and notify Manager / Strategy
VEEVA SUBMISSIONS:
- Ensures timely submission of materials to Veeva per the submission calendar
- Opens job codes in Veeva
- Completes Veeva submissions
- Attends medical/legal/regulatory review meetings
- Downloads medical/legal/regulatory review comments and saves in iMeet
- Ensures that medical/legal/regulatory review comments are marked up and incorporated accurately
PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
- Lead internal kickoff meetings
- Develop project briefs
- Mark up and route client comments; delegate and oversee appropriate activities to the junior account team
- Recognize internal challenges; raise a red flag for manager to address
- Recognize which projects require input from Strategy
- Lead low-complexity tactics and initiatives; seek support from senior account colleagues as needed
- Knows the limits of his/her own clinical knowledge and seeks guidance when needed
FINANCES:
- Monitor budgets by project; notify manager of potential scope creep
- Run budgets in timekeeping system
