What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening Custodian position at Navigator Schools?
This Evening Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe environment for students and staff by routinely performing functions related to that outcome and defined in the Essential Duties section to follow. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with peers, teachers, and students, and uphold Navigator school culture at all times. The schedule for this position is four hours per day, Monday - Friday, in the evenings. Requirements:Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this position will have the ability to ● Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school and/or training and experience, which will provide the necessary skills and knowledge ● Demonstrate and utilize safe working habits ● Use cleaning materials, equipment, and supplies to properly clean school environments with skill and efficiency ● Perform moderately heavy physical labor ● Use basic tools to perform minor repairs ● Understand and carry out oral and written instructions ● Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including students ● Read and write at the level required for successful job performance ● Set priorities and develop an organized daily work plan
