Position Summary
The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all onsite construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role serves as the primary field leader coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day to day onsite operations for commercial and/or healthcare construction projects
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
- Maintain project schedule and proactively address delays or conflicts
- Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with all regulations
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets plans and specifications
- Collaborate with Project Managers, architects, and engineers to resolve issues
- Oversee material deliveries, equipment usage, and site logistics
- Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation
- Lead site meetings and communicate progress with stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to budget, scope, and contract requirements
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, healthcare a plus
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with construction management software is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $120,000 – $140,000
