Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including process sheets, work instructions, and operation sheets.
- Review engineering drawings, blueprints, customer specifications, and quality requirements to support production.
- Support new product introductions and assist with product and process development from raw materials through finished products.
- Troubleshoot production issues involving materials, tooling, processes, and product quality.
- Participate in root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives to improve manufacturing performance.
- Support engineering changes by updating process documentation and manufacturing instructions.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, purchasing, and other cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations.
- Provide day-to-day engineering support to production and assist with resolving technical issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 1–3 years of manufacturing engineering experience; internship or co-op experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, NX, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with manufacturing documentation, process sheets, and work instructions.
- Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.
- Must qualify as a U.S. Person in accordance with ITAR regulations.
