You will serve as the Fleet Support Team Executive/Chief Engineer, Fleet Readiness Centers within the Naval Air Systems Command, Fleet Readiness Centers (FRCs) with an assigned duty station location of either Patuxent River, MD, Cherry Point, NC, Jacksonville, FL, or San Diego, CA. You will provide maintenance, modification, manufacturing, repair and overhaul (M3RO) and engineering, logistics and technical support services to the Fleet and aviation program offices.

Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will serve as the Chief Engineer across Fleet Readiness Centers and provide direct supervision to COMFRC group heads for Logistics, Engineering, Quality, and NATEC as well as FST site leads at FRCE, FRCSE and FRCSW.
- You will lead 34 Fleet Support Teams, NATEC, and COMFRC HQ personnel to provide sustaining engineering, logistics, and technical support services across the Fleet of 4100 Naval Aviation aircraft.
- You will serve as a member of COMFRC Leadership Team and is an authoritative advisor on Fleet support and FRC engineering issues to Commander, NAVAIR and to higher, DON and DoD authority.
- You will co-chair major platform program RCBs and systemic degrader boards, including the Corrosion Management Board.
- You will ensure integration of applicable tool sets, technologies and lessons learned across all teams, and provide well-documented standards, processes and procedures.
- You will establish non-intrusive methods of assessing team member performance and continually improves processes, training and certification programs to ensure personnel are current and proficient.
- You will provide expert consultation and conflict resolution in support of PMAs and team leaders. Maintain an understanding of program status and provide additional resources or expertise in the form of senior advisors or tiger teams as necessary.
