Position Summary
Natural Tresses Hair Salon is seeking a polished, professional Front Desk Receptionist to support daily operations during our evening hours. This role is the face and voice of the salon—responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, coordinating stylist flow, and ensuring the salon closes out smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Client Experience & Front Desk Operations
- Greet clients warmly, professionally, and promptly upon arrival
- Answer phones courteously, screen calls, take messages, and route calls appropriately
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments (phone and/or booking system)
- Check clients in/out and assist with retail sales as needed
- Handle client questions, concerns, and requests with discretion and professionalism
Salon Coordination & Stylist Support
- Help manage stylist schedules and service flow to keep appointments running smoothly
- Communicate timing updates between clients and stylists
- Support the salon manager/owner with daily administrative needs
- Maintain professionalism while directing and coordinating the team during closing hours
Cleanliness & Salon Readiness
- Ensure the front desk, lobby, restrooms, and common areas are clean, neat, and presentable
- Assist with light closing duties (tidying, restocking, organizing, sanitation checks)
- Maintain a professional salon appearance at all times
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior receptionist, customer service, or salon/spa experience preferred
- Strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent organization, reliability, and time management
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while staying calm and polished
- Comfortable coordinating schedules and supporting a team environment
- Basic computer skills (scheduling software, email/text confirmations, POS a plus)

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the salon during the shift
