Position Overview: As an Office Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. You'll be the first point of contact for our patients and assist in the day-to-day management of our practice. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role where you will handle a variety of administrative tasks while fostering positive relationships with our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering phones and managing patient calls, inquiries, and scheduling
- Managing and organizing patient appointments using Google Calendar
- Responding to patient messages through our messaging system, as well as sending daily appointment reminders.
- Typing and data entry (experience with high typing speeds preferred)
- Gather and organize patient folders
- Clean and preparing the rooms for the doctors & maintaining an organized, welcoming office environment
Qualifications:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Contacts)
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle high-volume phone lines and patient messaging systems
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A quick learner with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
- Team player with a focus on customer service
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a chiropractic or other medical office setting
- Familiarity with EHR and EMR software, specifically ChiroTouch and Office Ally
- Bilingual and/or comfortable with using Google Translate
- Experience working with personal injury cases and law firms
