Medical Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our chiropractic office. The Medical Assistant will support the chiropractor and office staff by performing clinical and administrative duties that ensure smooth daily operations and excellent patient care. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and able to create a welcoming environment while assisting with patient treatment, documentation, and office flow. Fluency in Spanish is required to effectively communicate with our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring all necessary forms and documentation are completed.
• Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and relevant health information.
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist the chiropractor with patient care as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, equipment, and supplies.
• Provide basic patient instructions regarding therapy, exercises, or aftercare as directed by the chiropractor.
• Communicate with patients in both English and Spanish to ensure understanding of care and instructions.
• Manage scheduling, phone calls, and appointment confirmations.
• Handle patient files, input data into electronic health records, and maintain confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
• Support office operations including billing, insurance verification, and payment processing.
• Monitor inventory and order clinical/office supplies as needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional and caring environment for patients.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in Spanish and English (required).
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Familiarity with chiropractic care or musculoskeletal health is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
