Title: Residential Assistant
Location: Adult Residential - 17645 NW Saint Helens Hwy, Portland, OR 97231
Schedule: This is an in-person role with a flexible, rotating schedule including day shifts (7:30am–4:30pm), swing shifts (3:45pm–12:15am), and weekends.
Wage Range: $21.00 - $25.20 hourly, with additional differential pay if working Swing Shift ( $1.60) or Graveyard Shift ( $2.60), Non-Exempt

Position Summary
The Residential Assistant (RA) is responsible for attending to all client-related needs during the scheduled work shift. This includes monitoring clients, completing all relevant documentation and making appropriate referrals, and interacting with clients in a trauma informed way.
What You Will Do
- Provide client support as required while maintaining client confidentiality in conformance with program guidelines and federal law.
- Facilitate client medication call, maintain all medication sheets, and document proper distribution of medications.
- Keep daily log of pertinent events, notifying counselors of client’s progress or problems.
- Maintain facility in a clean, orderly fashion while on duty, including regular sweeps of facility, poison checks, client checks, and ground checks.
- Follow orientation procedures for all new admissions or re-admissions.
- Supervise clients’ weekly cleaning duties.
- Assist with answering phones and with new admissions such as preparing room assigned to and bed linens, preparing admission pack for clients (towels, bed linens and blankets, t-shirt and pants), personal belongings search and heat treatment, completing the personal possessions inventory list.
- Transport clients as needed to outside events, meetings, or appointments.
