Responsibilities
- Provide attentive childcare for children of different ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s dietary needs, incorporating meal planning and preparation skills
- Engage children in educational activities, playtime, and developmental exercises to foster growth and learning
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized environment by performing regular cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, laundry, and tidying up play areas
- Assist with daily routines including diaper changes, bathing, dressing, and bedtime preparations
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing compassionate caregiving
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow safety protocols diligently
Skills
- Proven experience in childcare or nannying with a focus on infant care, toddler care, or preschool age groups
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks suitable for children’s dietary requirements
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain training promptly
