Role Description
We are seeking a Commercial Restaurant Installer for a full-time, on-site position located in St. Louis, MO. The installer will be responsible for assembling and installing commercial kitchen equipment (company provided training), including refrigeration units, stainless steel components, and millwork fixtures. This individual will need to conduct site surveys of installation areas to assess their suitability and position the equipment accordingly. Additionally, you will advise clients on appropriate maintenance procedures when necessary. To ensure success as an installer, you must implement projects safely, accurately, and promptly. An outstanding installer will offer solution-oriented recommendations for installation challenges and equipment usability when needed. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality results to our clients in the restaurant and hospitality industry.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Hands-on experience in equipment assembly, mechanical installation, and working with stainless steel and millwork materials
- Skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving during equipment installation and project execution
- Understanding of safety protocols and compliance standards within the construction and installation industries
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other trades
- Previous experience in restaurant equipment installation or construction is preferred
- Physical ability to lift and handle heavy equipment and materials
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed
