The Shipping & Receiving Team Member II plays a key role in warehouse operations by supporting shipping and receiving functions, loading and unloading products, maintaining inventory, stocking merchandise, and processing purchase orders. This position requires a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following warehouse safety procedures.
- Capable of performing in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Minimum of three (3) years of warehouse experience required.
- Power equipment experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an organized warehouse to promote efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
- Assist with basic customer service needs.
- Complete time-sensitive assignments with minimal supervision.
- Prioritize workload effectively and manage multiple tasks independently.
- Utilize various systems and websites to complete daily responsibilities.
- Operate handheld scanners and related software to ensure shipment accuracy.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Resolve routine departmental issues and escalations.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with customers and team members.
- Assist customers who arrive to pick up orders.
- Process and invoice purchase orders.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently lift and carry items weighing 10-20 pounds.
- Bend, reach, climb ladders or steps, and perform other physical warehouse activities.
- Stand and walk for the duration of the work shift.
