Our client is seeking an experienced Mortgage Processor to join their team. This role is responsible for managing a loan pipeline from submission through closing and post-closing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with FHA, VA, and Conventional loans, a deep understanding of guidelines, and the ability to calculate income and structure loans properly.
Responsibilities

Manage a pipeline of multiple loans from initial submission to closing and post-closing

Process FHA, VA, and Conventional loans (USDA a plus) with accuracy and efficiency

Apply knowledge of RESPA, HMDA, and TRID to ensure compliance

Calculate income and structure loans in accordance with investor guidelines

Work closely with Loan Officers, leadership, and wholesale account executives

Assist with trailing and post-closing documentation as needed
Qualifications

4 years of mortgage processing experience

Proficiency in Calyx software

In-depth knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional guidelines (USDA a plus)

Candidate must have worked for a true correspondent or mini-correspondent lender in a Mortgage Processor role.

Working knowledge of RESPA, HMDA, and TRID regulations

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8–5 or 9–6 (40 hours per week)
Compensation
-
Base salary: $48,000 annually

Structure: 1099 contractor role initially (no benefits)

After 2 months: will transition to full time w2

Exempt role (not eligible for overtime)
