Loan Officer Assistant (Spanish-Bilingual)
Location: In-Office | Piscataway, NJ

Our client is seeking a professional, bilingual (Spanish-English) Loan Officer Assistant to join their team in Piscataway, NJ. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting multiple Loan Officers with various tasks related to mortgage applications, underwriting processes, and client communication. Candidates must be NMLS licensed or willing to obtain their license within 90 days of employment.
Responsibilities:

Provide daily administrative and processing support to multiple Loan Officers

Assist in pre-qualifying clients by reviewing applications and loan documentation

Request, review, and organize client documentation

Run and interpret AUS findings

Review HUD, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac guidelines as needed

Assist in placing loans with appropriate lenders

Monitor interest rates and market trends

Deliver excellent customer service and maintain communication with clients

Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Loan Officer Assistant is required

NMLS license required or willingness to become licensed within 90 days

Strong knowledge of mortgage loan processes and industry guidelines

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Loan Origination Software (LOS)

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Bilingual in Spanish or Hindi is a plus
Salary is 50k no bonus eligibility for the first 6 months minimum
