The Staff Accountant will support the National Inventors Hall of Fame (NIHF) with precision in the areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable, museum store operations, Pre K-12 registration system, and NIHF filings.

- Learn and perform all aspects of accounting functions as they pertain to NIHF:
- Accounts Receivable
- Cash Management
- Accounts Payable
- Invoice entry into Business Central 365
- Inventory entry
- Assist with the Concur expense system
- Assist with Museum Store processes
- Month-end and Year-end processes
- Pre K-12 registration system
- Assist with NIHF filings
- Charitable filings
- Annual reports
- 1099 Prep-work
- Unclaimed funds
- Additional duties as needed
- Demonstrate a high level of business professionalism

- Credentials and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 2 years of accounting experience
- Advanced knowledge of accounting software packages (Business Central 365 is a plus)
- Must be team-oriented
- Ability to regularly work in the office and attend in-person meetings
- Ability to communicate effectively via email, chat, phone, and in-person meetings
- Requires regular, reliable, and on-time attendance
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 2 years of accounting experience
