Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience from equipment receipt to shipment. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Equipment Logging: Accurately log incoming equipment into our tracking system, ensuring all necessary information is captured.
Equipment Receiving: Receive and inspect incoming equipment, verifying completeness and noting any discrepancies.
Equipment Checkout: Manage equipment checkout and return processes for clients, maintaining accurate records.
Client Communication:
Respond to client inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
Provide updates on equipment status and calibration progress.
Proactively communicate with clients regarding any issues or delays.
Phone Support: Answer incoming calls, provide information and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records, file documents, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a technical or industrial setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to learn and utilize specialized software and tracking systems.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift and move packages, up to a certain weight.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a calibration laboratory or related industry.
Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
Familiarity with quality management systems.
