Key Responsibilities
- Protect and maintain the safety and security of all personnel, visitors, and property.
- Conduct routine patrols, monitor surveillance systems, and inspect buildings, access points, and equipment.
- Control access, authorize entry, and respond promptly to alarms or security incidents.
- Investigate disturbances, enforce company policies, and document irregularities professionally.
- Manage traffic flow and assist with access control as needed.
- Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely reports on incidents, observations, and activities.
- Monitor building systems to ensure proper operation and report maintenance needs.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and legal requirements.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance on security equipment and coordinate repairs when necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Class D Security License (required).
- Valid Florida Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Professional appearance, demeanor, and communication skills.
- Strong computer literacy and report-writing abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Flexible schedule — must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must own a smartphone for communication and reporting.
