Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Operations Director to oversee and elevate security operations throughout the Orlando region. This senior leadership position plays a critical role in ensuring client safety, operational excellence, and the consistent delivery of high-quality security services. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership capability and a passion for driving organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance regional security operations.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of security professionals through training, performance management, and career development.
- Collaborate with clients to assess needs and deliver tailored security solutions.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with law enforcement, emergency services, and key community stakeholders.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate security risks through proactive strategies and industry best practices.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, operational protocols, and all applicable state and local regulations.
- Produce detailed reports and analysis on operational performance, incidents, and emerging trends.
- Stay informed on industry innovations, technologies, and regulatory changes to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in private security, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of building and guiding high-performing teams.
- Strong communication, critical-thinking, and client relationship management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of security principles, standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency with modern security technologies and management software.
- Professional certifications such as CPP or PSP are highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of Florida security laws and regulatory requirements.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, both verbal and written.
