Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead and enhance our security operations in the Orlando region. This senior leadership role is critical for ensuring client safety, operational excellence, and the consistent delivery of top-tier security services. The ideal candidate is a strategic, results-driven leader with extensive managerial experience and a passion for driving organizational growth and operational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to optimize regional security operations.
- Lead, mentor, and empower security teams through coaching, performance management, and professional development.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized security solutions.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with law enforcement, emergency services, and community stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks through proactive strategies and industry best practices.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and all applicable state and local regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports on operational performance, incidents, and emerging security trends.
- Stay current on industry innovations, technology advancements, and regulatory changes to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the private security industry, including 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and client relationship management skills.
- Strong knowledge of security principles, standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency with modern security technologies and management platforms.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) are highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of Florida security laws and regulations.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
