We're looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and energetic individuals to join our Recreation & Parks team! Program Specialists work directly with participants to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment while leading activities, encouraging participation, and serving as positive role models. Responsibilities include supervising participants, planning and running games and activities, maintaining a safe program environment, helping with setup and cleanup, attending staff training, and working as part of a team to provide a high-quality recreation experience.
This position works afternoons, evenings, and weekends, depending on schedule and availability. Hours are flexible, up to 19 per week.
Requirements
This position is Grade 1 of the Town’s Part-Time Pay Plan with an hourly range of $16.50 - $17.51 based upon qualifications and experience.

Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with youth or in a recreation or related setting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Enjoys working with children and participants of all ages.
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
- Has or will obtain CPR/FA certification.
