Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable.
- Provide detailed menu descriptions and recommend specials or upselling opportunities to enhance guest experience.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
- Manage cash handling, billing, and cashiering duties efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations; assist with bussing and resetting tables as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery; uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightlife environments such as nightclubs.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
- Ability to multitask effectively while managing time in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
- Experience with culinary preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required.
