Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring correct entry and timely delivery
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Clear tables, bus tables, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting smooth restaurant operations
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings like nightclubs
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction management
- Previous experience in serving, bussing, hosting/hostessing, or hospitality roles is highly desirable
