They’re looking for a dependable, upbeat person to be their right-hand support—someone who will help them grow their independence, explore their interests, and enjoy life to the fullest.
What You’ll Do
- Join in horseback riding, basketball, dance, and community outings
- Encourage physical activity in ways that fit their needs
- Help them connect with friends and practice social skills
- Support with daily living skills like meal prep, laundry, and organizing their space
- Use strategies to help them communicate effectively and confidently
- Travel safely with them in the community

Schedule
Morning, Mid Day, Afternoons early evening and occasional weekends; flexible start times on some days.
Activities take place at home and in the community (stables, gyms, rec centers, etc.).
Requirements
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, ideally with both Down syndrome and autism.
- Training or willingness to be trained in ABA strategies and communication supports.
- Ability to physically assist in recreational activities, follow safety plans, and respond calmly in emergencies.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must pass background check.
