The Nassau BOCES Special Education Department is hiring for the 2026 Summer Program and the upcoming School Year for all positions. We are seeking certified special education teachers, speech teachers, hearing and vision teachers, nurses, psychologists, social workers, occupational/physical therapists, teacher aides and teaching assistants. There are multiple job openings across all programs located throughout Nassau County. No formal educational certification is required for teacher aide positions.
Successful candidates for summer positions will attend a one-day summer program orientation on July 1, 2026. Classes run from July 6, 2026 through August 14, 2026.
