The Department of Marketing in the School of Business at Siena University is accepting applications for one teaching faculty of marketing position to begin on September 1, 2026. The position will be at the teaching faculty level and includes instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels. This one-year non-tenure-track teaching faculty position is for one academic year; the possibility of future appointment will be determined by the University at a later date based upon the needs of the department and the University. Faculty are responsible for a 4/4 teaching load. The Department of Marketing offers major, minor, and multiple concentrations at the undergraduate level, as well as MBA with a concentration in Marketing and Advanced Certificate in Marketing at the graduate level. The School of Business is AACSB accredited and has an enrollment of 1,150 students. Marketing is among the largest majors in the school.
Annual Salary: $110,350 (PhD or DBA)
Annual Salary $ 61,200 (MBA or related field)

Job Requirements:
Requirements for the position include a PhD. or DBA in Marketing or related field (ABD with September 1, 2026 completion will be considered) and experience teaching introductory and upper-level marketing courses at the undergraduate level; experience teaching at graduate level is a great value added. Primary areas of teaching include marketing principles, consumer behavior, new product development and other marketing courses as needed. To be considered, a candidate must be able to demonstrate that s/he is a skilled teacher and will be expected to engage in marketing department activities. Practical experience in industry is an important criterion in the selection process. A PhD or DBA is preferred but a Master's degree will be considered.
A background screening will be required.
