We are hiring a Sales Development Representative to serve as the initial point of contact for individuals exploring surrogacy. In this role, you’ll manage early candidate engagement: reviewing applications, assessing eligibility, conducting outreach via phone and text, and coordinating next steps for qualified individuals.
Schedule- Part-time: ~3–4 hours/day
- Core hours: Mon–Fri, 9am–1pm PT (you’ll work your 3–4h within this window)
- Weekends: Flexible, light check-ins to review new submissions and reply to candidate texts
- $20/hour (1099 contractor)
- $15 bonus per attended intake call you book
- (Eligible only when the candidate’s application is complete and qualifies for intake.)
Daily pipeline reviews (CRM):
- Review potential surrogate candidates against Nascency guidelines.
- Create tasks and crisp internal notes for edge cases or missing info.
- Do a secondary check midday to clear anything new/updated and flag urgent cases.
Outbound calling & booking (qualified leads):
- Call new qualified candidates; verify interest/fit; handle common FAQs about surrogacy but mostly get them schedule.
- Primary goal: obtain a qualified application and book an intake call with our team.
- Log outcomes precisely: scheduled, voicemail left, no answer/follow-up, declined/disqualified.
- Follow voicemail
Responsive comms throughout the day:
- Monitor/reply to incoming texts/emails/CRM messages from new and pre-screen candidates.
- Route advanced process questions (docs, medical clearance, matching) to the appropriate team.
End-of-day reporting (Mon–Fri):
- Totals reviewed;
- Call stats: Scheduled / Voicemails / No response
- Note unusual cases, red flags, or process issues.
Weekend sweep (light):
- Sunday PM check to process weekend submissions, task any clarifications, and ensure Monday begins with a clean slate!
- Timely responses to candidate texts.

- Comfortable with reach outs by phone (cold calling previous people people who've expressed interest in our program) but don't fully understand surrogacy.
- Proven SDR/Appointment-Setter experience with heavy phone outreach (healthcare, nonprofit donor calling, or other sensitive-topic experience is a plus).
- Empathetic persuasive. You can balance warmth with forward motion to the next step.
- Process-driven & detail-obsessed. Clean notes, correct tags, no loose ends.
- High follow-through. You clear your queue daily and own your numbers.
- Excellent phone presence written texting etiquette.
- Comfortable handling confidential info (we’ll require an NDA and background check).
- Show-up rate: % of booked intake calls that attend
- Speed-to-first-touch: time from qualification to first call/text
- Daily pipeline hygiene: zero stale “In Review” by EOD
- Data quality: accurate dispositions, tags, and notes
- Experience with CRMs or Dialers specifically
- Surrogacy, OB/GYN, fertility, social work, or patient-intake background
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
