What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Veterinary Receptionist/CSR position at Napa Small Animal Hospital?
At Napa Small Animal Hospital, we are passionate about animal care, and we are currently seeking an experienced CSR to support our veterinary team. Candidates for the position must be comfortable working with the public in a customer service position and must be comfortable interacting directly with pets. Please note: all NSAH staff members are team-players who can multi-task while also maintaining close attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment. Desired Skills
- Proven veterinary customer support experience or experience as a veterinary assistant
- Experience with PIMS such as Cornerstone
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Familiarity with prescriptions and special products (veterinary)
- A calm and kind attitude at all times. Leadership experience a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- High school diploma
- We offer room for advancement - potential for CSR shift lead depending on experience.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) desired but not required
Job Duties:
- Answer incoming customer inquiries
- Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies
- Checking in and checking out clients for appointments, cash handling.
- Closing and opening duties on a daily basis.
- Record customer information within our customer service database
- Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
- Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies
**Schedule - this is a full-time position, and candidates must be available to work Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm.
