Pawsh Place Veterinary Center is seeking a front office customer service representative for our full-service animal hospital.
Duties:
- Handling busy phones and determining what requires immediate care
- Gather and input client and patient information into medical records.
- Managing the daily appointment schedule
- Process Payment transactions.
- Checking in and discharging patients
- Taking prescription refill requests
- Strong communication skills
- Multi-tasking and stress-management abilities
- Familiarity with veterinary software
- Cleaning of reception and lobby area.
- A big heart and a love for animals
The right candidate will have excellent skills in client communication and a willingness to learn!
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal husbandry, and medical collection procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and staff members
- Ability to handle dogs and other animals safely and confidently
- Familiarity with dog training, pet grooming, and animal handling techniques is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and appointment scheduling
