What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Nurse registered technician or extremely experienced veterinary assistant position at All 4 Paws Veterinary Hospital?
We are looking for a well experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or exceptional veterinary assistant with a minimum of 5 years experience to join our growing, tight knit group of like-minded veterinary professionals. We are expanding and need a lead for wed to Saturday at this time, or Thursday to sat if part time is preferred.

Our hospital uses the latest medical technology (I-stat alinity, cold laser CTS DUO therapy, phovia therapy, complete in house laboratory including coags, IDEXX send out, ultrasound, digital X-ray sound eklin and digital dental radiographs, full surgivet vitals monitors with etco2, bair hugger warming therapy), and paperless cornerstone software to provide our patients with a high standard of care.
We pride ourselves on constantly improving patient care and seek individuals who are motivated to contribute to that goal, as well as already very comfortable with most assistant and RVT duties.
- We are looking for an experienced RVT or highly experienced veterinary technician or veterinary assistant with the following
- Positive attitude and reliable work ethic
- Good communication skills with team members and clients and a solid understanding of medical care and testing
- A sense of humor is a must
- Strong desire for learning and continual self improvement
- A passion for veterinary medicine
- Excellent with dogs and cats
- Gentle low stress handling
- comfortable with outpatient workups, surgery and hospitalized patients care; drug calculations
We are currently on 4 10 hour shifts.
