Nanjing USA is in need of a Purchase Order Specialist to support and assist our team in Bentonville, AR.
Job Summary
The Purchase Order Specialist works with our factories and warehouses to manage the lifecycle of factory purchase orders. This includes editing and reconciling purchase orders for accuracy of dates, shipping status, and pricing.
Responsibilities:
· Create overseas Purchase Orders
· Check and create initial information in system for creation of new styles
· Send pertinent information to China of new styles and revisions as needed
· 3PL Receiving’s and balancing for 3 separate warehouses; keep up to date receiving for accurate inventory
· Review information from Arkansas office to create overseas Purchase Orders
· Review information from NY office; check and create in system UPC forms for new styles
· Send pertinent information to China regarding new styles and revisions
· Run overseas shipments
· Update Tracking Reports; Send reports each week once prior week has been verified
· and closed
· Manually enter Customer Order when It is not EDI
· Select backup information for auditors at various times during the year.
· Any other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
· High School Diploma; Associates degree in accounting preferred
· 5 years of similar purchase order experience
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers
