Food Runner Busser

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet the restaurant's quality standards.
• Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including bussing tables and refilling drinks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely food preparation.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times.
• Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and address any inquiries or concerns.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of culinary techniques or kitchen experience is beneficial.
• A background in hospitality or guest services will enhance your candidacy.
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
