Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout service hours
- Assist servers by delivering food promptly from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs regularly
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures during delivery and service
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed, such as refilling condiments or restocking supplies
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies or equipment using safe lifting practices
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest service
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of hospitality standards
- Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order accuracy and transaction processing
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a lively setting
