Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist them with seating arrangements.
- Manage the flow of guests in the restaurant, ensuring timely seating and minimizing wait times.
- Operate the Aloha POS system to process customer orders and payments accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Communicate effectively with team members to enhance guest relations and overall service quality.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- A background in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
