Duties
- Operate various machinery and equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards to produce food products efficiently.
- Follow detailed production protocols, including packaging, labeling, and sanitation procedures, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and other regulatory standards.
- Monitor production lines to maintain consistent product quality, conducting visual inspections and quality assurance checks throughout the process.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas by adhering to sanitation protocols and GMP guidelines to prevent contamination.
- Document production activities accurately using SAP or other manufacturing management systems, including batch records and quality logs.
- Assist in managing inventory levels of raw materials and packaging supplies to support continuous production flow.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices for safety and efficiency.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food production or manufacturing management within a food processing plant is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP plans, CGMP practices, and food safety management is essential.
- Strong understanding of quality standards in production, sanitation procedures, and safety standards in manufacturing environments.
- Basic math skills for measurements, recipe adherence, and data recording; familiarity with SAP or similar systems is a plus.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for managing production teams and coordinating with supervisors effectively.
