Duties
- Operate and monitor various production equipment in accordance with FDA regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and other safety standards.
- Assist in the preparation, packaging, and labeling of food products while adhering to quality standards and sanitation protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections of production lines to ensure compliance with food safety management systems and quality assurance requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including batch records, sanitation logs, and quality checks using SAP or similar manufacturing management software.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and suggesting solutions to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Follow strict safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals while managing food processing tasks efficiently.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food production or manufacturing management within a food processing plant is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP standards, and food safety management practices.
- Familiarity with SAP or other manufacturing management systems is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating yields, or adjusting quantities as needed.
- Strong understanding of sanitation procedures, GMP compliance, and safety standards in production environments.
- Ability to manage production or assembly teams effectively with clear managerial communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality assurance within the food and beverage industry.
- Experience working within regulated environments that require strict adherence to legal and regulatory compliance standards in production settings.
