Job Title: Data Processing Quality Control Specialist Department: Data Processing
Reports To: Data Processing Department Leader FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Shift: Remote/Hybrid Wage Range: $21.55-32.33

Job Summary:
The Data Processing Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data and variable letter setups used in our printing processes. This role involves reviewing, verifying, and validating data and letters to maintain the highest standards of quality in our print products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform quality checks on processed data to ensure it meets company standards.
- Review completed letter setups and verify accuracy against incoming instructions.
- Assist with programming needs within the Data Processing team as needed.
- Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in data before it is used in production.
- Collaborate with data processing and production teams to resolve data-related issues.
- Develop and implement data quality control procedures and best practices.
- Follow all Nahan Safety & Qualify policies and procedures.
- Work assigned shifts and overtime as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills Abilities Required:
- Strong computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Comfortable with different scripting languages.
- Proficiency with data management software and tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency/fluent with English language, both written and verbal.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and/or 2 year’s work or school experience in database management, programming, software development or related areas is required.
- 1-2 year’s prior experience in direct mail list processing and personalization format setup is highly preferred.

This job operates in a Manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job inside the manufacturing facility, the employee is frequently exposed to normal to moderate working conditions for a manufacturing facility with a noise level that is usually moderate to loud. The role routinely uses printing equipment and machines.
While performing the duties of this job, this position requires frequent verbal, and/or written communication and active engagement with others, as well as the ability to remain attentive and responsive in a dynamic office/production environment. The employee may be required to stand for long periods of time as well as use hands or fingers to reach or handle, and to reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee will regularly lift 70lbs or more at a time. All vision abilities are required to encompass close-up work. Employees must be able to tolerate and endure extended seasonal hours and maintain alertness to meet deadlines.
Occasionally while performing duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to machinery and moving parts, airborne particles including paper dust and hazardous materials or fumes, which may require the use of PPE. The employee may be exposed to adverse weather conditions, extended seasonal hours, high precarious places, and confined spaces. The nose level in some of the work environments may require the use of hearing protection.
