Head of Admissions, 2 Hour Learning - $200,000/year USD Base pay range
$100.00/hr - $100.00/hr
Some parents think school should keep kids a little unhappy. Others uproot their lives for something better. This role is for the latter. At 2 Hour Learning, we compress a full day of academics into two hours using AI-powered mastery platforms, freeing up the rest of the day for high-leverage life skills. No teachers, no busywork, no pretending a 6hour worksheet parade is meaningful education. Kids here move at 2.6x the national learning speed. Thats not marketing its MAP data.
What You Will Be Doing
- Responding to inquiries from prospective families within 4 hoursalways personal, never generic.
- Hosting school tours and events that make our model tangible: how we teach 2x faster, why it works, and who its for.
- Managing the admissions pipeline: applications, shadow days, decision calls, and onboarding.
- Keeping HubSpot and SIS data accurate, timely, and analysis-ready for weekly reporting.
- Updating FAQs, SOPs, and admissions collateral based on real-time learningsand testing new ideas to improve conversion.
- Managing a team you are the process owner and primary executor.
- Playing nice with bureaucracythis is a startup pace, not a school board crawl.
- Treating all applicants as equalsyour job is to select well, not just fill seats.
- Apologizing for the modelsome people will hate it. Youll be great with the ones who get it.
- Working remotelythis is an on-campus role with occasional local event travel.
Own and optimize the admissions experience to convert qualified interest into enrolled familiesand ensure every interaction reflects the speed, clarity, and rigor of the school itself.
Basic Requirements
- 5 years owning full-cycle admissions at a competitive, tuition-based academic institution.
- Proven success managing selective enrollment processes from first contact to final decision.
- Confidence and presence when speaking with high-net-worth families.
- Exceptional writing, speaking, and presentation skills.
- Strong operational habits: CRM proficiency (especially HubSpot), time management, and attention to detail.
- Located in or willing to relocate to Scottsdale, AZ or San Francisco, CA.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
- Background in selective private school admissions or elite college enrollment.
- Experience running events that influence high-stakes family decisions.
- Comfort with data analysis, conversion metrics, and reporting.
- Familiarity with AI-powered or mastery-based learning models.

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. It is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level is $100 USD/hour, equating to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. Payment is weekly. For more details, consult the Crossover help portal.
