JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality

• Clinical Identity: Implements evidence-based practices to advance patient safety, quality outcomes, and care standards
• Practice Variation: Manages clinical variation to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and culture of accountability
• Compliance & Benchmarks: Monitors regulatory standards and benchmarks to ensure full compliance and pursue accreditations
• Throughput & Operations: Directs patient flow, volume forecasting, and care coordination to optimize throughput and operations

Service

• Patient Experience: Leads strategies to sustain an unparalleled patient experience and elevate customer satisfaction
• Feedback & Roadmaps: Utilizes feedback mechanisms and strategic roadmaps to benchmark and enhance service outcomes
• Collaboration: Partners with subject matter experts to ensure compliance with evidence-based customer service practices
• Talent Management: Attracts, develops, engages, and retains skilled talent to build a competitively superior organization

Finance

• Budgeting: Participates in annual revenue and expense forecasting while monitoring and addressing budget variances
• Labor Management: Oversees scheduling, productivity, and premium pay to maintain cost-effective, appropriate staffing levels
• Expense Control: Manages operating expenses for supplies and equipment while actively implementing cost-reduction opportunities

Education & Experience

• Degree Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required; a master’s degree is preferred
• Experience Metrics: Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience required; 5 years preferred
