Property Insurance Company seeks Phone Receptionist/Administrative Assistant
This position is entry level with the opportunity to take on other tasks which would provide the ability to increase salary.
Responsibilities:
Primary
- Answer central telephone system and professionally direct all calls to the appropriate team member or department
Additional Administrative Tasks
- Track and organize office supplies, letting supervisor know when something needs to be re-ordered
- Handles returned mail, entering the information accurately into the policies
- Process Underwriting and Accounting requests
- Scanning and uploading of documents
- Other projects as time and skills allow
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (GED)
- Ability to work independently without close supervision or direction
- Ability to handle difficult people and situations calmly with professionalism
- Team player/Team oriented - works well with others
- Oral and written communication skills
- Computer use skills and Microsoft Office experience
- Pleasant phone voice
Hours
- Monday thru Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm with a 45 minute lunch
- Friday 7:30am - 1:00pm
- Additional hours may be necessary during Catastrophic Events (hurricane, tornado, etc.) in the state of North Carolina
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
