A day in the life.
The purpose of the Culture & Well-being department is to help clients create culture and employee experiences where thriving people drive business success.
The Culture & Well-being Specialist primarily supports the MMA-Michigan Culture & Well-being practice with day-to-day tasks related to our purpose and the culture and well-being needs of colleagues and clients. This includes assisting with the development of culture and well-being strategies, programs, and communication materials; reviewing and analyzing data; evaluating vendors and their performance; and helping create new toolkits and resources.
Beyond client and colleague support, there are opportunities to participate in work groups, collaborate with MMA's network of National Health Management Consultants, and engage in projects that foster career growth and skill development.
This position can be based out of our Troy, MI or Grand Rapids, MI offices.

Essential Functions
Support the MMA MI Culture & Well-being team by assisting with the development and enhancement of consulting approaches and processes, including:
- Following industry best practices, processes, and strategies to support employee health and well-being.
- Observing client well-being strategy meetings and participating as needed (note: this role does not lead client meetings).
- Assisting in the development of culture and well-being strategies by compiling and evaluating data and supporting the creation of recommendations to positively impact client culture and well-being.
- Supporting vendor reviews, evaluations, and the collection of pricing and capability information for requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Assisting in the development and creation of toolkits, resources, trainings, and other client deliverables - this includes maintaining knowledge and awareness of trends in culture and well-being industry.
- Supporting the preparation of engagement survey and employee value proposition (EVP) survey responses and related culture practice deliverables.
- Each business area (EHB, BI, Retirement, etc.)
- Roles and functions of the EHB team and other departments
- Marsh's overall organizational structure

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Health Education, Public Health, Exercise Science, Nutrition, or related field
- Entry-level support role; no prior experience required
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues
- High emotional intelligence, empathy, and openness to constructive feedback
- Motivated, committed to excellence, and focused on continuous improvement
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Accurate, proactive, and able to proofread own and others' work
- Capable of managing multiple projects, using good judgment, and working under pressure with tight deadlines
- Problem-solving mindset with practical knowledge of getting things done
