We are seeking an experienced legal professional to join our team. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to the business, providing practical, solution-oriented legal advice across commercial, regulatory, and product matters. You will lead negotiations for complex agreements, advise on regulatory and compliance issues, support new product development, and guide the integration of acquisitions. This position provides a unique opportunity to influence business strategy while mentoring legal staff and working across multiple business functions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex B2B commercial agreements (SaaS, licensing, reseller, master services, and data privacy/security).
- Create and update contract templates; provide guidance on escalations and high-priority negotiations.
- Support the sales team throughout the customer lifecycle, from initial engagement through contract execution.
- Advise on regulatory, data privacy, marketing, and competition issues impacting current and prospective products.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align commercial terms with legal standards and business goals.
- Provide legal support for mergers, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integration.
- Support international expansion initiatives and related compliance needs.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including training and contract governance processes.
- Manage escalations, resolve customer legal inquiries, and drive efficient solutions.
- Coach and mentor legal staff to support professional growth.
- Contribute to departmental efficiency by developing and implementing administrative and reporting measures.
- J.D. or equivalent law degree; licensed to practice law in the United States.
- 5 years of corporate law department experience, preferably in-house.
- Strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
- Proven ability to assimilate legal, business, and technical issues to make sound decisions.
- Strong integrity, business ethics, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel as needed (low to moderate travel anticipated).
- Preferred:
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions.
- Experience with information services regulatory compliance.
- Experience with Intellectual Property law
- Experience with international expansion.
